Stemming from the tensions, alliances and expansion of the Cold War between the Soviet Union and the United States of America, the Vietnam War was fought between the North Vietnam, supported by its communist allies, against the South fuelled by the US and its allies in Southeast Asia in a lengthy conflict (1959 -1975). This conflict was home to virtually every type of individual Weapon used in the Vietnam War imaginable, from crude firearms manufactured in jungle workshops to ultra-sophisticated, hi-tech pieces complete with silencers and scopes. Some of them were of the most devastating the world has ever seen.

Following World War 2 communist country's lead by China recognized the Vietminh's democratic republic of Vietnam as the official government of North Vietnam, whilst other nations recognized the French-backed, South Vietnamese Government, With empire Bao Dai as its ruler. With the outbreak of the Korean war in the early 1950's governments believed that Indochina was a direct expansionism of Communism by the Soviet Union. |

In a Summary of Vietnam war between communist North Vietnam and capitalist South Vietnam which commenced in 1964 and concluded in 1975. It was fought in southern Vietnam and bordering areas of Cambodia, Laos and in the bombing of North Vietnam. The capitalist South Vietnam forces were assisted by troops from the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea. At the height of the war in 1969 this force comprised 800,000+ troops.

The reason behind the us entering the Vietnam War was a general attempt to prevent Communism. Communism although good in theory particular for the masses, doesn’t always work. Sadly it doesn’t work as it is human nature for people to be greedy, the leaders are generally better off and ordinary people don’t normally work harder without incentive.
